Type Ib diamonds
This classification of diamonds also has nitrogen, but, in this case, it is not in cluster form. They are isolated all over the crystal structure. Approximately 0.1% of all diamonds are Type Ib diamonds. They have an intense orange, yellow, green, and brown colour tones.
What Are Type II Diamonds?
Type II diamonds do not have nitrogen impurities in their atomic structure, or they don’t contain enough to get detected. It means that the diamond has no detectable impurities or boron impurities. Boron impurities make a diamond appear bluish. This group is also further classified into type IIa and IIb diamonds.
Type IIa diamonds
